Vw Passat Back Door Wont Open From Outside

On a passat thread that slamming the door a few times or punching near the door handle would re seat the cable mechanism and fix the issue.

Vw passat back door wont open from outside. Ok so my drivers door on my 2013 golf won t open from the outside i pull the handle it feels loose won t release but from the inside opens perfectly fine. Hi have you tried disconnecting the car battery for 10 mins then re connecting to see if it reboots the door control modules bit like rebooting a computer also all the door control modules can be read with a diag machine to see if they are logging faults with the door latches and also the convience control module can be read with a diag machine to see if it is. It s a 2009 tiguan se 2 0t 4motion.
